1. Affiliate Monetization Overview
Film Fan Awards is an independent community platform dedicated to celebrating cinema history and retrospective fan voting. To help cover server infrastructure, archiving resources, dataset curation, and maintenance costs, Film Fan Awards participates in affiliate monetization programs.
Some pages across the site may contain affiliate links to physical media, digital streaming, books, or film merchandise. If you click on an affiliate link and make a qualifying purchase, Film Fan Awards may earn a small referral commission at absolutely no additional cost to you.
2. Amazon Associates Disclosure
Film Fan Awards is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com and affiliated marketplaces.
3. Complete Editorial & Voting Independence
Our affiliate partnerships have zero influence on:
- Nominee Selections: Nominees are preserved historically from the official Academy Award records.
- Voting Outcomes: Winners and voting tabulations are determined 100% by the votes cast by verified fans.
- Editorial Integrity: Film summaries, ceremony trivia, and historical context are curated objectively and never modified to favor commercial partnerships.
- Ballot Neutrality: Voting ballots and nominee voting cards never contain affiliate links or commercial bias.
4. Direct Links & Consumer Protection
All external shopping links go directly to the destination merchant (such as Amazon.com) using standard, uncloaked URLs marked with appropriate rel="sponsored nofollow" attributes. We do not display dynamic scraped pricing or stock availability to prevent inaccurate consumer expectations.
If you have questions about our affiliate disclosure or operational policies, please reach out via our contact channels.
